When expecting a girl I am sure moms dream of baby dolls, Barbies, and tea sets. When I was looking forward to meeting Bennett I dreamed of Tonka trucks, mini 4-wheelers and Hotwheels. It is so fun to see him playing with these things I once dreamed of. Bennett has been becoming more playful and creative lately. You can see his mind being imaginative.
So I set out the other day, after promising his Dad I would only buy Fords, and bought about a dozen Hotwheels. He loves playing with them in the window while looking out. He drives them back and forth and crashes them together with giggles.
We have been stuck inside all week with colds and Bennett kept us up all night last night with a 103 temp. We let him read some books in the middle of the night and he is seeming a bit better today. Sadly sunshine or not, we are going to be inside until we all feel better.
Joel took advantage of our inside time and finally gave in to Bennetts obsession with the vaccuum. He will find a vacuum or broom at anyones house and push them around. So here is Daddy putting the little guy to work.

hadley also loves micro machines! vicki had a bunch at her house in WW for wyatt and when we got home from our visit last time i found at least 5 of them in our suitcase (grand theft auto already?). but never fear, the purse / tutu combination are up there as favorites as well :)
