For countless hours last summer I would rock Bennett and watch out this window. I would be waiting for Stacey our nurse to arrive, Joel to get home or just for Bennett to finally fall asleep hooked up to all his equipement. As spring moved into summer and then fall these lillacs bare of any blooms got huge and eventually blocked my view of the driveway.
This spring they finally got their first bloom. As Joel and I continue to consider moving, I know we will always take these lilacs with us.
